Raw honey, harvested from the meadows, hedgerows and woodlands of Exmoor.
The honeycomb is delicious with yogurt and fruit, for a healthy start to the day, or to accompany cheese and biscuits.
I extract honey in small batches throughout the season to capture the changing flavours of the landscape. The spring crop is characterised by the woodland flowers that bloom early in the season, producing a honey darker in flavour than the summer crop.
It would make a wonderful present for a honey lover.
I take great care in managing my hives sustainably, breeding my own queens so that they are adapted to the Exmoor climate.
My honey is always unpasteurised and is minimally filtered, retaining its natural properties and the widely recognised health benefits.
